[sleuthkit-developers] Autopsy 3.0.4 compiled.. index doesn't works

Solutions:

1) development build requires java executable (from JRE or JDK) be in the
system PATH for the indexing engine to work.  Please check if it's the case
2) alternatively, run the official 3.0.4 build.

Could be some other issue too (such as various antivirus/security software
blocking autopsy -> indexer communication).
