Thanks Thomas,

I work often with dd images and so I have mark this thread in
expectation of a good answer and resolving.

Unforunately is it something difficult to find a answer of the question
from Patrick here, because the most answers here are not reffering to
the topic... ;-)

So I even more happy as I found today your post. I will try out your
hint immediately.
