RE: [sleuthkit-users] Help!! New to TSK and Linux

You should put this on the PSK forum because it
focuses on that, not Autopsy and The Sleuth Kit.

All we do here is guess, but Ernie created it so he
should have answer for you quickly.

Perhaps KDE is not starting with appropriate
permissions for you to write directories?
