[sleuthkit-users] Lame install question

OK, Lamo question.  I have installed Sleuthkit and
Autopsy on a RH9 machine before ( a couple of
versions) with no problems.  I am now installing the
new releases on a Suse 9 machine and after extracting
the archives, when I run make I ge the error:

bash: make: command not found

WTF did I do????  Any ehlp would be appreciated.
