The last 2 weeks have been hectic for the Sleuth Development team, whats more 3 more members have been added to the team! The new version of the Sleuth engine is slated to be released by Late October/Early November with some popular and powerful features under integration.
The engine will feature Bayesian filter along with automated lookup and updation of the Sleuth XML filter which will make the scanning and spam determination even more efficient(currently, the detection accuracy is almost 90%). Another feature that will dorn the XMLfilter is the encryption of profane words and avoid "corrupting" the minds of anyone having a glance at the filter list. The XML filter will also have word specific attributes that could be helpful to the Client.
Also, two forums are available to the public based on the various Client implementations of the Sleuth and the Engine itself. Two mailing lists, one for the public and one for Developer community is also ready. The primary documentation is also well under way and I plan to start working on the website soon after.
For the developers, the CVS is now open though the Web-viewing is un-available at the moment because of the lack of ViewCVS and related libraries. The public can access the CVS repository by anonymous pserver access.
