Everything is good now, but just a teeny little bug at first installation & startup:

After running the installer (I had not imported any data into SH yet), I updated the “preferences” (mask type was the only change), and the program went into “recalculating summaries” mode. It was using appx 50% of the processor capacity – it seemed to be stuck in a loop that wouldn’t complete. I eventually exited the program after about 15 minutes.

Upon restarting Sleepyhead, the preferences were not changed (still at default settings). I (again) changed the mask type, and the program accepted the change – instantly with no display of “recalculating summaries” message. Everything seemed to be fine after that initial first glitch. But then:

I just noticed in Windows Task Manager that my processor was still running at 50% load – for no reason! I checked and it shows that Sleepyhead is using 50% of the CPU availability, and 81,672 kb of memory, but sleepyhead has been closed for several hours. (!)

I rebooted the computer, and now everything is fine – Sleepyhead loads and unloads without any “residual” effects. A minor bug that may not even be worth bothering with, unless it is indicative of something potentially more ominous.

Other than that – AWESOME! And again a million thank you’s to Mark!

    Thanks for reporting..

SleepyHead chews a bit more memory than it used to now.. Especially after import.. There are a lot more indexes that need caching. <100Mb I consider normal for a data heavy application like this.. It will spike over this occasionally..

The processor load and hang thing definitely isn't right though..

It must be the multithreading stuff playing up.. I'll disable it for recalculations as the performance increase is minor..

This bug has been fixed.. It was attempting to recalc with no machine data..

Will be in the next update.. which will be automatic if things go to plan..
