Can't import data from network drives

With the latest 0.8.8 build I now cannot access the folder where I backup my Resmed chips daily, as it is across a Home Lan on another Mac. You've changed the file open box to a different format than previously. I do not see anything but my local machine. I DID make a symbolic link to that network ocation and put it on my local drive, but that's just a workaround.
Hmm.. Ok.. I can fix this, but this means all mac users will lose multiple folder selection capabilities.. :-/
The workaround is adequate, no?
I have my backup on a network drive. Works fine. Try copying and pasting the full path to your backup directory into the SH import dialog if you prefer not to use a symbolic link.
BTW, the new dialog allows multi-folder selection. You will appreciate that if you every need to reimport your backups. The old dialog forced you to reimport one folder at a time. Since you are apparently making separate daily backups, I suspect you will appreciate the new dialog if you ever need to reimport from 100s of daily backups.
The FAQ was recently updated to explain how to make a single merged backup of ResMed S9 data.
Seems like the workaround IS adequate. (And I used the combined folder option for the update to 0.8.8). As far as I'm concerned, leave things the way they are... seems like the multi folder access is more important...

I don't have a Mac any more so I can't test this myself. My interpretation of David's last comments is that nothing needs to be done as the symbolic link workaround is OK.
I reckon this ticket can be closed.
