The interim version of SH Mac will not import from SD on OSX Mavericks. The 92 version deb will not import on Peppermint Linux, an Ubuntu derivative, even when directed to the correct mount point for the SD. Neither will import when pointed to a directory on internal storage into which the SD files have been copied.
What model CPAP is this? Keep in mind that 60-series Phillips units are not supported on <0.9.3. I don't know if anybody packaged that in .deb.
Using an S9.
Incidentally, the Linux distro I am using automatically mounts the SD card at /media/buzz/123456 . The SD is in a USB card reader.
I'll let somebody else comment on the status of the S9, but on linux I've found it helpful to define my sdcard in fstab so that it mounts read-only in a predictable location.
I am using Ubuntu 13.10 and versions 0.9.2 and 0.9.4 (most recent) import data from my USB reader for S9 fine
Generally speaking software works best on linux when it is packaged for the distro that you're actually using - typically by the distro itself. Alternatively you can always build from source - I maintain the Gentoo package for Sleepyhead and it contains a pretty comprehensive list of build dependencies (aside from the toolchain).
I'm also having this problem. Anyone know of a workaround? Does a previous version work?
I am using SleepyHead v0.9.8-1 (testing) Build Date: Sep 6 2015 13:48:05
Revision: db99d0d (master branch) Graphics Engine: OpenGL. This was compiled from source on a 64-bit Ubuntu Gnome 15.04 and runs on the same machine with no problem importing ResMed S9 data from SD card with write protect on.
If a Mac OSX user can confirm that the current build can import from SD card OK then perhaps this old ticket can be closed.
Closing.. this should well and truly be sorted.
