Getting Started with Sleeper OS Installation

Welcome to the guide on installing Sleeper OS, the cutting-edge operating system designed for performance, security, and user-friendliness. This guide will walk you through the installation process using VMware or VirtualBox virtualization software.

System Requirements

Before you begin the installation, make sure your system meets the following requirements:

  • CPU: Dual-core processor (2 cores)
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM or more
  • Disk Space: Minimum 30 GB of free disk space
  • Virtualization Software: VMware or VirtualBox

Installation Steps

Follow these steps to install Sleeper OS on a virtual machine using VMware or VirtualBox:

  1. Download Sleeper OS VMDK Image:
  2. Obtain the Sleeper OS VMDK image from the official website: Sleeper OS Downloads.

  3. Set Up a New Virtual Machine:

  4. Open VMware or VirtualBox.
  5. Create a new virtual machine and select "Linux" as the guest OS type.
  6. Allocate at least 2 cores and 4 GB of RAM to the virtual machine.

  7. Attach Sleeper OS VMDK Image:

  8. In the virtual machine settings, attach the downloaded Sleeper OS VMDK image as the virtual hard disk.

  9. Boot the Virtual Machine:

  10. Start the virtual machine.
  11. Sleeper OS will boot from the attached VMDK image.

  12. User Account:

  13. If everything is correct, you will see the login page with the user "SleeperGuy". The password is "root" (without the quotes).

  14. Enjoy!

  15. Now you can download your favorite web browser, wallpapers, apps, or even Snap packages!
