Sleeper OS Installation Guide

Overview

Sleeper OS is a version of Linux based on MX Linux. This guide helps you install it using the provided ISO image.

Before You Start

  • Make sure your computer has at least 2 GB of RAM. Uh! and 2 GHz recommended.
  • Back up your important files before proceeding.
  • Look for the Sleeper OS installer icon on your desktop.

Step 1: Start Sleeper OS

  1. Insert the Sleeper OS USB and restart your computer.
  2. Choose the USB drive from the boot menu.

Step 2: Get to the Desktop

  1. You'll see the Sleeper OS desktop.
  2. It uses Gnome Session Flashback.

Step 3: Find the Installer

Look on the desktop for the Sleeper OS installer icon. Double-click it to start.

Step 4: Follow the Steps

  1. Click "Next" on the welcome screen.
  2. Pick your language and click "Next."

Step 5: Choose Installation

  1. Select "Installer" and click "Next."
  2. Pick your disk or let it use the whole disk.

Step 6: Set Time Zone

Choose your time zone and click "Next."

Step 7: Make a User

  1. Enter your name, username, and password.
  2. Choose if you want to log in automatically.

Step 8: Start the Install

  1. Click "Next" to check everything.
  2. Press "Install" to start. It takes some time.

Step 9: Finish Up

  1. When done, remove the USB and press "Enter."
  2. Your computer will restart.

Step 10: Log In

  1. After restarting, enter your info to log in.
