Sleeper OS is a Linux distribution based on MX Linux. This guide will walk you through the installation process using the ISO image.
Insert the Sleeper OS Live USB into your computer and restart it. Access the boot menu and select the USB drive to boot into the live environment.
Once booted into the live environment, you will see the Sleeper OS desktop. The default desktop environment is Gnome Session Flashback in "regular" edition.
If you have chosen Pro, then it will be Trinity, and you will have to do the setup.
On the desktop, locate the Sleeper OS installer icon. Double-click on it to start the installation process.
The installer will welcome you to the Sleeper OS installation process. Click "Next" to proceed.
Choose your preferred language for the installation process and click "Next."
Select "Installer" and click "Next."
Choose the disk (or SSD/NVMe drive) where you want to install Sleeper OS. You can either use the entire disk or manually partition it. Click "Next" when ready.
Select your time zone and click "Next."
Enter your name, username, and password. You can also choose to log in automatically if desired. Click "Next" to continue.
Review your choices and click "Install" to begin the installation process. This may take some time.
Once the installation is complete, you will be prompted to remove the installation media and press "Enter." Do so and your system will restart.
Upon restarting, you will see the Sleeper OS login screen. Enter your credentials to log in.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed Sleeper OS.
