I've installed "awstats" into a separate virtual host, so that I can track
server stats, but it fails when Apache has Slash configured, even in a
different virtual host.
I've also tried the patch to User.pm to cause the Slash handlers to ignore
other URLs, but that has no impact. The only way I've gotten around this has
been to rename my "awstats.pl" script to "awstats.pl2".
What happens is that the "HTTP 1.1 200 OK" string is missing from the response
as long as the server includes the Slash handlers. If I comment out the
include for slash.conf, all is well ... except for my slash site.
I'm guessing that it is something to do with Slash/Utility/Anchor.pm ... ???
