I'm using CVS of slash BEFORE the big section change thing. I've noticed that trying to get a Blob from Slash seems to die if its over about 10megs. I don't seem to be getting any error messages in any of my logs (Apache, Slash, Mysql). Any ideas? Was there something in the Blobs stuff that might cause this? Thanks |

Ha! Um, storing the Blob is not the issue. The issue seems to be when the slash site is sending the Blob, it dies about 10megs into it. No errors, nada. And on upgrading......I'm still scared ;-) Shane wrote: > check the mysql docs on their website and see what the max size a blob > will hold. then do a 'show create table' on the blobs table to see if > they specified anything odd (if that's even possible) in the schema > for the blobs. > > oh - and upgrade to the latest code, it rocks! ;) > > Shane > |

Yeah, there is a Blobloader or something that you can load local files into the database. > > If there were (it'd be pretty easy to write such a thing) then you > could run that, and atleast see that there's no read-from-the-db > problems. Actually, I don't know what to make of the problem. Locally, I can access the Blob from my website without any issues. Remotely, it dies at around 10megs or so. > And the apache-send of the thing isn't timing out? How would you track that down? I don't remember seeing any in the Apache Conf. I have run into the byte-size-receive-limit. I fixed that.... > > As far as upgrading, it's not that bad. I suppose I just need to sit down and do it at some point. Where is the update.plx file? Is it something that works now? |
