I've been pushing Slash perhaps beyond its intended limits with this one....
A customer wanted to import RDF feeds as STORIES, not Slashboxes. Wrote that
as a slashd module; it mostly works (except segfaults on some RDFs, which is
probably a bug in XML::RSS) and indeed posts HUNDREDS of stories near
simultaneously when first run (he has a long list of RDFs!). It uses the
$slashdb->createStory and createDiscussion APIs.
Problem is that "Older Stuff" simply disappears after the stories are posted.
When I deleted all the stories ("update stories set writestatus='delete'
where time >= '2001-01-26'"), Older Stuff came back.
But he also has some RDFs that are supposed to go into Slashboxes, and they
are also not showing up at all. I *think* I have it set up right. IIRC they
were NOT there when the stories were deleted either.
Sorry this is weird..... things are always weird........
Thanks for any ideas,
