[Slashcode-general] Installing plugins

Hi,

I want to install the Jobs plugin for travtalk so that people around the 
world that might want to temporarily hire a traveler could post it there. :-)

Is there a documented way to install plugins into running sites that I'm 
missing?

Or do I have to (psuedocode):

1. mysql < mysql_schema.sql
2. template-tool (install) templates
3. copy Jobs.pl to the site htdocs (or symlink it to plugins/jobs)
4. copy Jobs.pm to the same directory as Slash::Utils and the others

Untar plugin into /usr/local/slash/plugins
perl Makefile.pl in the directory.
Run install-plugin, restart.

Restart Apache, slashd, all of the above, or reboot the whole machine?

restarting Apache did it for me.

If you had to reboot, something would be seriously wrong!

Hey, great to hear that. The plugin need some work to be done but I
think that it is a good start. If you need more functionality or
changes, please send and email to me so we can coordiante the
development.

Well it seems to work OK but I haven't tested it extensively.  I'll let you 
know if I need to make a change.
