[Slashcode-development] display modes

i've looked in the latest db documentation, i've changed settings for about
an hour now on slashdot trying to get it figured out, and i STILL can't see
what the difference is between nested and threaded. would someone please
give me a definitive answer to this question that has been lingering for,
oh, 1 month with me?

email slash-dev. finally figure it out. feh.
