I remember that at the time Slash could not run on 2.0 due to major rewrites in this and that, however this is now several years past.

I'm now trying to install Slash again on a machine that my host provided, and I'm running into a problem with a few of the modules. Particularly right now I'm hung up on Apache::Cookie and Apache::Request. Both seem to require mod_perl1.x, and as a result Apache 1.3.x. Looking at the install doc the software requirements do mention apache 1.3, and wouldn't you know my host installs 2.0.54.

Long story short, it's a VPS so I can wipe out Apache and reinstall from scratch. But before I do so, is Apache 1.3 still required after all this time? Or is there some work around to use 2.0? For that matter, am I going to have any problems with MySQL 4.1 on this machine, or will I need to downgrade that as well?

I recall receiving great help from this list before, I'll greatly appreciate any advice that you can provide. Thanks.

|
