The var 'search_google', when set, will emit a form that does
the searching on google rather than submitting to search.pl.
It's an inferior choice but better than nothing.

Slashdot set that for a few days last week when we were fixing our
munged-up search database.  (MyISAM, unlike InnoDB, has this nasty
habit of getting itself corrupted... in ways that myisamchk just
can't fix.)  We're back to normal now.
