[Slashcode-general] 2nd domain for a skin of an existing site

Has anyone who is running a section-topics website (ie, with skins,  
css, etc) tried assigning a different top level domain to a skin and  
had it work OK?

As far as I know, all the stock code is setup such that it could  
handle this. The benefits, as we see it, are a quick way to create a  
(possibly, probably) related slash-based website to an existing  
established website.

Obviously, you'd have to set the cookiedomain for the new site's  
skin, and setup the site's httpd.conf such that it'd recognize the  
new tld.

I'm hoping someone's tried this and can say "yea it works".

Anyone?
