I agree, something like that would be sweet.

I had been thinking about doing LVS http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/ .
When I had a really good student employee two years ago I was able to 
have him setup a mock environment with an entire LVS and webfarm via 
multiple webheads and FS shared from an NFS server.

But then he left, and I had no time to deal with it.

So when I saw this "Pound" thing it caught my eye.

Same thing, however. No time to deal with it nor test it etc etc.

But it sounds sweet.
