Is this a clear indication of a corrupted old database? AFAIK, the db is an 
unaltered dump from last night.

Has this problem been encountered before? I've now got a site that's slowly 
coming together -- like that damn mummy.. it's an ugly, dusty, stringy 
skeleton of a slash site. :)

If you look around, you'll see that I have most/all of the comments back; I 
assume that I have all of my users back, but I can't search past UID 31.. 
though I verified that newer users do exist.

Any specific reason why admin.pl redirects to users.pl? I cannot login as an 
admin or as a user to the site.
