On Friday 11 May 2001 00:46, it was said: > perldoc slash1toslash2 -- Thanks, but I already read that. It was not much help for my problem. /dan Also, anyone have the quick way to create a new database user with proper access? It's late at night here and I can't find what I'm looking for. If you couldn't tell, I'm a bit rusty on my db-admin skills. I created two blank databases, slash and oldslash using the commands: create database slash; and create database oldslash; from within mysql. I can connect to the server as root from localhost with a password, but I can't seem to get any other users proper access. I created a user called slash, but I cannot get this user to access either one of the new slash db's. Now why the hell did I even decide to upgrade my site? Anyways, thanks everyone in advance for the help... /Dan Flickinger -- One future, two choices. Oppose them or let them destroy us. |
