Why not 2.0.0-pre1?  1.1.6 has a lot more bugs in it that 2.0.0-pre1 does.

I would definitely not recommend 1.1.6 for hosting live sites.  It is a
beta version.  -pre1 is kinda post-beta, pre-release.  It's stable, but has
a bunch of little bugs that we are still squashing.
