Info: Suse 6.2 comes with fileutils version 3.16 (install --version),
which fails to install bender.
      I got an RPM from Suse6.3: fileutil-4_0-28_i386.rpm
      install --version now says: version 4.0, and 'make install' works
(almost).

Perhaps you want to add a note to the Requirements section in INSTALL.
