I got the answer seen above: I wonder if all the slash, etc. install has created those environmental problems??? If I compile an apache1.3 + mod_perl in this environment ... how will it end? I will try on a pc with no apache2 first. My googling also suggested that Apache::ExtUtils was a module that just a few other software packets than slash use. This could be the reason why it won't install in connection with debian's apache2 mod_perl: There is no one to file bug reports ;-) Flem |
