Wow ... thanks to Chris' comment about public repo, went searching a bit, 
and the Ajax code looks to have been added around Mar '08 ...

The problem isn't that the code isn't there, the problem is its never been 
released ...

Chris, any chance of getting a new release worked up?

I've gotta figure out this GIT software and try out the repo code ...

As nice as Apache2.x and beyond would be nice, I don't think that lack of 
that is as much as a dis-service to the community as not getting a new 
release out on Apache 1.x ... :)
