Anyone know how http://www.devchannel.org/ is able to use the 
Slash::Page plugin yet generate correct 
http://www.devchannel.org/page.shtml pages?

Note: there is no http://www.devchannel.org/index.shtml

I've been using the page plugin for a while now on my site, and 
slashd's never created a page.shtml for the front page. It's still 
creating index.shtml's using index.pl too, not page.pl:

http://www.lottadot.com/index.shtml

exists, but is of the wrong templates.

http://www.lottadot.com/page.shtml

is a 404 file not found.
