zoo.pl says in it that 2.3.x is required; I have no idea how much of 2.3.x
is required.  But the bottom line is that you should never use a plugin
distributed in one version of Slash with another version of Slash.  We
often make changes in Slash -- in the modules or even schema --
specifically needed for the plugins, and you can't know easily what parts
of Slash are required.

What I'd recommend is using Slash from CVS, either the current Slash, or a
recent one.  Jamie might have more to say than I do about CVS tags, but the
last time we tagged with R_ we considered that essentially release-quality,
and I believe we will be doing another R_ tag soon.
