They were not my decisions, so be aware that any talk
here won't necessarily fix things, immediately.

The problem here is that sections and topics are TIGHTLY
coupled, now, so your default section will affect your
default topics when you start the editor.

You must reset the section and "Preview" to get the proper
topics for your section, and you cannot "Preview" until
your story has a title, and I THINK it might need something
in the introtext field, as well.

Here's another thing to try. Try creating a new story again,
don't touch the title or the introtext, just set the section
and see if you can see your new topics.
