[Slashcode-development] session managment

Hi,

A site I'm working on is using slash for message forums. I need to be 
able to make slash start a user session in the event a user accesses 
the forum section first, rather than going through the main portion 
of the site. I will need to make datbase accesses as part of setting 
up the user's session.

It seems to me that the best place for this would be right after all 
of the use lines in Slash.pm. Is this accurate? If so, what object do 
I need to use to access the database functions?
