[Slashcode-development] configuring site & taking advantage of template toolkit

Hi,

I'm interested in personalizing the look of my slash site. I'm not sure
to go about this besides editing blocks, which seems a little confusing.
Does anyone have a howto or tutorial they can refer me to?

Also, for setting up mutliple users, do they have to have user accounts
on the site, or should login for new user create a new user account
where the slash site it hosted ...
