As a matter of style, this should be "plugin" not "add-on", I believe.

At a Boston Perl Mongers meeting last night, two of the current developers
of the Reefknot project, of which Net::ICal is a part, gave a presentation.
Reefknot / Net::ICal is definitely something that should be a part of a
calendar system for Slash.  This way you can do things like:

* Import/export data with other calendar systems
* Talk to the calendar server with any kind of client you want

Of course, this is all a lot of work.  Hopefully the Reefknot folks do most
of it for us.  :-)
