[Slashcode-development] highlight threshold

we don't ever want any replies in the list of replies to threaded comments
displayed. (part of our BB plugin stuff) since 'highlight threshold' allows
comments to 'break out' of the threading, what if we set the default
highlight threshold for every user to 1 more than the greatest score a
comment can have and don't allow users to change this value? for example, by
default the max score a comment can have is +5. so if we set the highlight
threshold for each user to 6 and don't allow them to change it, will this
break anything?
