I didn't even know there was an i18n list for slashcode. Oh! I am afraid I can't help specifically with portugese but I am going to be looking at this problem from a slightly different angle. I have users who submit articles with smart quotes and unicode "mdashes" and such like. I think there are CPAN modules to convert unicode into html escape sequences which kind of makes sense for me. I am not sure if that would be helpful to you? If so then show some encouragement.... I ought to upgrade to MySQL4.x first but if this is bothering you then maybe I can sort it for both of us. Alex |
