#78 Automatic links

At least half the people who submit URLs in their
comments don't bother to make them links, which means
you have to cut-n-paste into a new tab and delete the
spaces. The other half (myself included) do make
links, but this requires pasting the link twice into
the already too narrow edit window. I think it would
save everybody a lot of time if Slashcode (by default,
anyway) automatically turned URLs into links, like most
other Wikis and boards do. Is there a reason not to do
this?
