Many of the people who use the journals feature of
slashdot maintain a personal website. I have written
many journals and would like to have them offline or on
my personal site. I know that I could go back in and
hit edit and copy the code over, but this would be time
consuming. It would be nice to have a "Save journal
offline" link on the view all journals page so users
could save their journals to an HTML file on their hard
disk. All it would have to do it pull up whatever was
in the comment field in the database no frames or
anything around it. And you'd probably only want to
put it on the page that shows the users own journals,
not on a page listing all someone elses journals.

This would be a reasonable subscriber feature, but this is
    no real priority.
