I just submitted a story this morning which has yet to
be either rejected or accepted. During the course of
the day, I came across other links which would be good
in an "Update:" kind of section on the stories. These
links really were quite helpful in the grand scale of
the story, and I got to wondering about exactly how one
submits Updates to stories. I couldn't email the
person who added the story to the frontpage because it
hadn't actually made it there yet (and may not ever if
it gets rejected), so for all I knew nobody had even
looked at it yet.
<p>
What would be cool is a way to attach "Updates" to
stories you've submitted so that if it takes a few
hours for an editor to notice the story, it might have
better information than when it was first submitted.
Just a thought.

Oh, and regardless, I think there should probably be a FAQ
question about the "proper" way to submit updates to
stories. (Of course, if I'm the only person who's wondered
about this, I suppose it's hardly frequently-asked, eh? :)
