Slashboxes, presently, do not have discussions
associated with them unless they are also submitted as
stories. This is redundant. Slashboxes should be
allowed to have discussions associated with them, much
like voting already does.
Editors should be able to add discussion topics to the
discussion page for each slashbox, thus a slashbox
(for example, the "I, Cringely" slashbox on SlashDot)
can have timely discussions without the contents of an
updated slashbox being submitted as a story.

Depending on the implementation, I would consider
something like this. I could see many uses for it.
If someone wants to submit a diff, go for it.
