If a comment is within my threshold, But it's parent
isn't, I would still like it's parent to be displayed.

    Definitely needed. Moderation is very undependable.

    <BR>

    For example, I recently posted a comment. Someone
    responded, pointing out an error I supposedly made. This
    first response was modded up. Then someone else responded
    to the response, pointing out that what I had originally
    said was correct. Only the response that was in error was
    moderated up.

    I agree.

    It would make reading at a high threshhold much more useful
    if you could see what came before. As it is at the moment,
    you generally have no clue what is being refuted or agreed
    with.

    Maybe you could control what you saw as well?

    E.g Previous post only / previous n comments / entire
    thread.
