#4558 News feeds from other sites not updating

My Slashdot user name/ID is pwp/197913. I have news feeds from Freshmeat.net and The Register display on my customized display. Neither have updated in about a week. It would appear that the feed this are refreshed from has gone stale or is broken. If you could fix this, I would appreciated it.
