Slash (with the new v3 update) is using too much CPU time while viewing objects. A newly-started Firefox instance, while viewing the following URL:

http://meta.slashdot.org/story/11/01/25/163257/Slashdot-Launches-Re-Design#comments

...is using approximately 50% CPU time as reported by 'top' (effectively consuming one entire CPU core)
