I keep receiving these daily slashdot updates though I've set all my preferences on NO Messages several times.
or should i simply delete my slashdot account? feel like doing this now.
Please help me, I'm done with this.

By any chance is your nickname "MarcellaBremer"? Is it ALSO "MarcellaBremer1"? I see both accounts. One has all messages turned off, but the latter does not.
