#4428 Browser Stall/Javascript/c.fsdn.com
Sorry that I can't figure out where exactly to report this. I'm seeing my browser stall [Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3] when going to Slashdot (main page, http://slashdot.org\). I have Slashdot as my home page, and I see ~10 seconds' delay; generally waiting on c.fsdn.com . It's bad enough that I have actually subscribed (3000pp) hoping that this was advertising-related and it wouldn't happen. Recently I'm getting the "Script on this page is not responding" dialog.
I presume that content from this site is important, and perhaps this is all my problem (although I'm not really running all that heavily loaded or any overly interesting Firefox extenstions); maybe it's related to general Browser Startup Slowness but if there's a way to bypass this I'd be grateful to hear about it.
Just for the record, I'm happy to subscribe, and grateful for the work on the site. Feel free to toss this if there's not a solution at hand, but if there is I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
