#4348 Oddly formatted /. link breaks de-mangler

A submission today arrived with a link formatted thus: http://hardware.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid==08/11/05/0016251&art_pos=12

It works fine as a link when viewing the submission.

On preview / save, though, rather than getting demangled / resolving to https://slashdot.org/submit.pl?op=viewsub&subid=991919, the link is instead broken, shows up as "https://slashdot.org/article.pl?" (clicking on which takes you to the Nothing to See Here error message).
