When I go to the main /. page I get a HTTP basic login prompt for http://imgsrcdev.stsci.edu.
The message in the pop-up is:
A username and password are being requested by http://imgsrcdev.stsci.edu. The site says: "Development Server Access"
I don't think this is supposed to be on the production system... unless there is something I've missed.
That's the "Hubble Site" image - either they're getting hammered from Slashdot and took measures to prevent it, or the image linked there points to the very wrong server...
This is happening to me also.
Only on Linux, two different computers running Debian etch and DSL and only when logged in to /.
Hubblesite is one of my slashboxes.
