#4249 Beta index is ignoring preference to show icons
My account has the "No icons" preference checked in Preferences->Index->General.
As of today (24th October 2008) icons are now showing up on the front page at http://slashdot.org/index2.pl
Could this also be related to 2130028 , which has the new beta index ignoring the preference to hide tags?
Thanks for the report. This will be fixed when we next update the site.
This has resurfaced over the past couple of days (from about 11th Dec I think). Had been fine for quite some time, but a regression seems to have occurred.
This has re-occured as of 5th June. (and am also moving it up from Slashdot Beta group to Slashdot main, as that's where it's now happening). Again, been fine for quite some time so it appears there might have been a regression.
