Up until now, metamoderation was moderation applied to moderations of articles. It has apparently now changed to being retrospective moderation of the articles. But I feel uncertain about this.
I will follow the new instructions, and moderate the original article, but I feel that the instructions should specifically note that this is a change to what is being moderated. And that this change needs to be boldly highlighted. The first time I used the revised meta-moderation system I used the +- to indicate agreement/disagreement with the applied moderation, as this seemed the most reasonable interpretation of the change. Even having read the new instructions carefully, I still feel uncertain that a mistake wasn't made in writing them. This feels more like moderation than metamoderation.
