#4074 Filter bar doesn't update when tab is clicked

I've noticed that the Filter bar doesn't update when I select a custom saved tab on the firehose section of Slashdot. After clicking the tab the page will begin to update, the selected tab with change to untitled and every article under the sun will appear (I'm sure that's because the filter is set to 'black').

I hope this helps to figure out the cause of this issue.
