D2 doesn't load at all in anything but Firefox.

IE7, Opera (9.20+) appear to not load/run all the javascript resulting in none of the Ajax-ified crap working... no bar, no comment unrolling, etc. Opera isn't reporting any errors. IE7 reports about a dozen.

Opera 9.26 on my laptop complained about a blank line in comments.js. It loaded correctly after deleting the line. (that's one out of a dozen computers where it works, FOR NOW.)

Yeah, the newer threading discussion system is now shot for me as well. I'm running Firefox v. 1.5.0.12 on a Windows XP Pro laptop, with Slashdot whitelisted under the Noscript plugin. Also running AdBlock Plus, if that has anything to do with it.

The only thing which I've noticed not working at all is the comment unrolling feature, which I use all the time. I really enjoy the dynamic page load feature as it saves me from refreshing my browser / reorienting my viewing perspective. Anyhow, I'm not sure what else to write, but I'm having the same sort of issues.

Everything works fine for me in FF 1.5.0.7 on Mac ... I am not sure what might be the problem there. Opera 9.5 on Mac works fine for me too. IE7 should mostly be working. I can run some more tests.

Maybe your comments.js file is messed up by caching? Someone else complained about this. Try clearing your cache?

Cache cleared. Everything is fine now. I've never had that happen before, oddly enough.

Cache was cleared. Working from local copies is how I narrowed it down to an extra comma in validkeys. Remove the last comma, and *poof* it loads the js and runs fine. It's still hit and miss reading articles. ('tho I'm at a loss as to why Opera isn't reporting errors, even errors I've intentionally inserted don't generate anything.)
