I view the discussions with D2 and on the whole have been extremely happy with the workings of it.

However recently I have been wanting to remove the few extreme trolls which are posted, so have adjusted my slider a little to hide the very low scoring comments.

Now when reading discussions the replies posted under a hidden message are being merged into the good replies above making the discussion jarring ("wtf is he replying to himself" was my thought)

To clarify a little:

[Good Comment]
[Good Reply]
[Good Reply]
[Bad Comment]
[Good Reply]

will display as:

[Good Comment]
[Good Reply]
[Good Reply]
[Good Reply]

I know you have adjusted the settings a few times with different breaks and working to expand threads and I do see this as being better, but I feel *some* kind of separator is required, even if it is a single grey line to indicate where the comment should have been.

It could even be an adjustment on the angle bracket icon for the first visible item in each thread (top left of each comment with a parent)

I have uploaded a file showing a bit of the thread in both scenarios.

Yes, this is known, and we know it's a problem. We have plans to deal with it.
